Empire Officially Becomes Television's Biggest Show and Breaks Twitter!
The season finale of Fox's "Empire" definitely ended with a bang! And we're not just talking within content. The show ended with a whopping 16.5 million viewers, up 10% from the 14.9 million who tuned in the week before. The show has managed to grow its total audience every week since its premiere, which is rare within the lines of scripted television. The fans weren't disappointed with the finale either. They broke twitter with 2.4 million tweets which included the cast of the show doing a live tweet session. The hash tags #EmpireFinale and #Becky trended worldwide during the finale. Also, the Empire soundtrack hit number one on the Billboard charts earlier in the week. Congrats to the Empire cast! We can't wait for season 2!
