Bravo Launches "Real Housewives of Potomac"

Looks like the Housewives series will be taking their cameras further down South and to the East side. It was recently announced that the franchise will be expanded starting on January 17th with the introduction of Real Housewives of Maryland, Potomac to be exact. Potomac is one of the more upper scale neighborhoods with gated communities and country comics, it is in close vicinity of Washington, DC. Cameras will follow six wealthy African American families who have "broken racial barriers and because of their hard work and success, now reside in the sophisticated community."
The cast will include:
Charrisse Jackson-Jordan (50), wife of former Wizards coach Eddie Jordan and dealing with the strain of a long distance relationship.
Karen Huger (52), the eldest of the group who will likely play the role of arbiter of all things Potomac. The woman who allegedly knows all the “rules” of getting “into the circle.”
Gizelle Bryant (45), ex-of megachurch preacher Jamal Bryant who looks to be the show’s biggest instigator of drama.
Katie Rost (36), describes herself as a model/TV “personality.” The divorced mom of three moved in with her mom in 2013 and is unafraid to air dirty laundry: you may remember that post she wrote on her personal blog titled “You White, Stringy Haired B*tch” aimed at the woman who hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons left her for in 2009. In it, she writes, “since I emerged from the womb I have consciously and consistently been a troublemaker.”
Robyn Dixon (34), A Baltimore native, she was married to former NBA star Juan Dixon and currently works as the “Lifestyle Account Executive” at TAA PR, a luxe publicity firm in Washington.
Ashley Darby (27), a former Miss D.C., is the New Girl on the block and the youngest cast member. She is married to developer Michael Darby (56).
Not much has been revealed about the Real Housewives of Dallas, except that you can expect that more information will be available later in the new year.
