Golden Globe Nominations 2016

The Golden Globe Awards will be airing on January 10, live, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The nominations are already rolling in, and on top of the list is the movie "Carol" with five nominations. Right behind it is "The Big Short" and "Steve Jobs". Even Netflix has gotten a lot of nominations this year for the streamed shows, with 8 in the bag.

There are plenty of categories, so we'll just name a few for you to see:

For "Best Actor in a Motion Picture" (drama) we have Leonardo DiCaprio, Eddie Redmayne, Michael Fassbender, Will Smith, and Bryan Cranston

for comedy/musicals, Matt Damon, Steve Carell, Al Pacino, Mark Ruffalo, and Christian Bale.

For Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy/Musical, the nominees are Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Schumer, Lily Tomlin, Melissa McCarthy, and Maggie Smith.

"Best Animated Feature Film": "Anomalies", "Inside Out", "The Good Dinosaur", "Shaun the Sheep", and "The Peanuts Movie"

Best TV Series (drama) we have Empire, Mr. Robot (USA), Game of Thrones, Outlander (Starz), and Narcos.

Did you know "Orange is the New Black" even got nominated for Best comedic TV series?!

Oh, and Taraji P. Henson and Viola Davis got nominated too!
