For those who don’t know, Livin’ Lozada is an original docu-series that premiered on OWN network back in July of last year. It follows the lives of former Basketball Wives’ star Evelyn Lazado and her 22 year old daughter, Shaniece Hairston. Flex & Shanice on the other hand is a docu-series that instead follows former nineties pop sensation, Shanice Wilson, her husband, One on One star Flex Alexander, their two children and their extended family who all moved into a rental home to share costs due to some financial setbacks. The former was the highest-rated freshman season ever for an OWN docu-series among women ages 18-49. The later was up 22% in women 25-54 compared to its premiere cycle. OWN has ordered eight additional episodes of Livin’ Lozada and has ordered an eight-episode second season of Flex & Shanice.
