Atlanta Series Show Cancelled Again

Atlanta is one of the top cities for young rappers looking to make a name for themselves in the business. Among those up-and-comers is Alfred Miles, a hot new artist who is trying to understand the line between real life and street life. He is managed by his cousin, Earn, who gets caught up in the local rap scene and his cousin's career after returning home to the ATL. Earn does whatever he can to try to get Alfred's career to the next level. Darius, the rapper's right-hand man and visionary, is also in Alfred's entourage. When Earn isn't busy managing his cousin's career, he spends much of his time with best friend Vanessa, who is also the mother of his daughter.

The second season of Atlanta averaged a 0.33 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 639,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 25% in the demo and down by 28% in viewership. During this year’s winter TCA press conference, FX boss John Landgraf says season three of Atlanta won’t be ready in time for the 2018-19 season due to Glover’s busy schedule.

Donald Glover is said to be the king of all media, Glover has had an incredibly complicated life. "He’s had personal things he’s had to deal with from injuries to other things I’d rather not say publicly that just have to do with not with his personal life but his extended family.” said a close friend of Glovers. It is rumored that the show was canceled based upon Donald Glover’s Tweet that was made regarding Taylor Swift in one of the episodes on Atlanta."For the record: I wasn't too busy to work on Deadpool," he wrote on Twitter, a tweet which has also since been deleted, as a Hollywood Reporter noted. In the thread, Glover shared excerpts from one of the scripts, which have also now been deleted. In one them, Deadpool wonders, "Do you think they canceled the show because of racism?! All the writers were black. The references were pretty black, too. I heard they went over lunch budget ordering Jamaican food at least once a week."

Lets just hope that is was for a good cause and hopefully they will return next season on their contract.
