26th Annual Billboard Music Awards

The Billboard Music Awards 2019 took place on Wednesday, May 1 st live from the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Hosted by Kelly Clarkson for the second year in a row, this year’s Billboard Music Awards served up plenty of fiery performances and awards. Taylor Swift started the evening events with a live performance from of her single “Me!” featuring Panic! which
followed behind Kelly Clarkson's performance of “Broken & Beautiful.”

The show proceeded with more amazing performances from artists such as Ciara, BTS with Halsey, Dan + Shay with Tori Kelly, the Jonas Brothers, Khalid, Madonna and Maluma, Paula Abdul, and Mariah Carey. After her performance of a medley of her classic and unforgettable songs, Mariah Carey was awarded the 2019 Icon Award. Drake also made Billboard history winning Top Artist. 

As far as nominations, Cardi B took the lead with 21 nominations in 18 categories and received multiple awards. Check out some of the performances and the winners from the 26th annual Billboard Music Awards below.
