Solange Knowles

Solange Knowles has an underrated eccentric sense of style, and has allowed for feminism and black pride to influence her nonconforming, minimalistic, and cultural inspired wardrobe. Prior to releasing “A Seat at the Table” in 2016, the artist had not released an album since 2012. This allowed her to reflect on art in music and in fashion. As seen with music artists, many other art forms inspire one another, and fashion and music have been deeply intertwined together throughout history.
