Q Da Fool Releases New EP, “Deaf Wish”

DMV stand up! Our very own, Q Da Fool (a.k.a. Q), just dropped his latest EP called "Deaf Wish"! It features 8 tracks with one feature from rapper, OhGeesy of Shoreline Mafia, on a track called "Wit My Rounds". He explained that the spelling of ‘Deaf’ comes from him being tired of other people’s opinions and shutting them out to focus on the music. Deaf Wish explains the side of Q Da Fool who’s in a better position now than old Q Da Fool, and gives listeners insight into his new life. Coming from Largo MD, Q has made a name and staple for himself not only in his hometown of PG County, but also across the country. He started freestyling when he was 14 and started out as a group member of Pakk Boyz Gang. Eventually, he parted ways with the group to focus on his own group, Rich Shootas. Q started to gain fans and listeners as he dropped frequent mixtapes on Spinrilla, releasing bangers like “What Do You Need” and “Plugged In” featuring fellow DMV rapper, Shabazz PBG.

Despite multiple run-ins with the law and a few stints behind bars, Q maintained his status and kept the music coming. Across every DMV function and high school dance, Q blasted through the speakers. Everyone knew the lyrics to the songs and parties couldn’t go without a Q track. In 2017, he dropped “100 Round Goon” which would contain a new DMV anthem (“Guns N Bells”) that would go on to be played all the way in North Carolina, again, at every function. This tape gained him massive exposure and even played a role in his music reaching the ears of Jay-Z. In 2018, he signed to Roc Nation and has only advanced in his career since. Don’t sleep on Q Da Fool! Make sure you check out his latest EP Deaf Wish, out now on all platforms!
