Empowering Black College Students Through Mental Health Support
Be Part of Something Transformative
Divah Zone is more than a directory—it's a lifeline. We're building a comprehensive network of Black mental health professionals dedicated to creating safe spaces where college students can find the culturally competent care they deserve.
Why Your Expertise Matters
Black college students face unique challenges that require understanding, empathy, and cultural competence. They need therapists who truly get it—who understand the intersection of academic pressure, identity development, family expectations, and systemic challenges that shape their college experience.
The Reality:
-
Black college students are 40% more likely to experience persistent feelings of sadness
-
Only 26% of Black adults receive mental health treatment compared to 40% of white adults
-
Cultural stigma and lack of representation in mental health services create additional barriers
-
Many students struggle in silence, feeling isolated and misunderstood
Your Impact: By joining Divah Zone, you're not just providing therapy—you're saving lives, nurturing dreams, and helping brilliant young minds thrive during one of the most critical periods of their development.
