Angelina Jolie filing for divorce is worthy of breaking news. Angelina and Brad Pitt were everyone’s favorite couple
including Hollywood. Jolie and Pitt are Hollywood’s most high profile couple and after 9 years of a relationship and 2 years of marriage the idolized couple are splitting. Angelia filed citing statements of differences between the couple.
According to court documents the Jolie and Pitt separated after only being married two years and one month. Jolie wants physical custody of the kids while granting Pitt visitation. There are rumors that there will be an unfriendly custody battle over their six kids but a source assured the public that the pair wants to be very cordial.
"I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well being of our kids," Pitt said Tuesday in a statement to CNN. "I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time." Geyer Kosinki Jolie’s manager also made a statement Tuesday to E news "Angelina will always do what's in the best interest to protect her children, she appreciates everyone's understanding of their need for privacy at this time."
The world has been in love with couple even before they were in a relationship when they Costarred in Mr. and Mrs.Smith back in 2004. Fans have watched them act as humanitarians adopting children from different backgrounds. Fans along with Brad Pitt supported Jolie when she had her ovaries and Fallopian tubes removed to cut her risk of cancer. It’s sad to yet another inspiring unable to stick it out, but all there is left to do is wish the pair good luck on the rest of their endeavors.
