Long Island, New York Rapper Leigh Paris releases debut EP, 5500

Young breakthrough rap artist, Leigh Paris released his debut EP 5500 on all platforms January 25th. The project features 9-songs including his hit single, "Wood Grain". Prior to releasing the album 5500, Leigh Paris dropped visuals for “Wood Grain”. The track was a sampled version of veteran hip hop rapper Shyne’s hit single, “Bad Boyz”, with a modern hip-hop style produced beat. In the video, the New York rapper paid tribute to hip hop icon Shyne by shooting a more modern video of his single, “Bad Boyz” in Belize, where the veteran rapper was born.

Leigh Paris even wore the same New York style red and blue number 32 jersey that Shyne wore in his video for “Bad Boyz.” Leigh Paris’s EP 5500's energetic flow and New York influences broadcasts his confidence and playful artistry. Leigh Paris is barely 18 years old but is already making his way into the hip-hop industry’s mainstream lime light. If you didn’t know his name by now, know that Leigh Paris is making strides to make sure that you do! Be sure to check out his album 5500, available on all streaming platforms.
