Aaliyah Wax Figure

The Princess of R&B is finally getting honored! On August 22, Madame Tussauds: Las Vegas revealed the Aaliyah wax figure. Her wax figure was unveiled days before her death anniversary. Detroit's own Kash Doll was invited to the launch by Aaliyah's brother Rashad Haughton. Rashad keeps his sister's legacy going and even created an app named after her. Aaliyah's fans created a petition prior to this announcement so they're extremely excited to see their dedication coming into fruition. Others also took to the media explaining how Aaliyah is a legend and her wax figure would be PERFECT.

Rashad also conducted a contest to give 10 lucky fans the opportunity to attend the wax figure launch figure. Her brother and mother was including in the process of creating her wax figure. The multiplatinum award-winning singer and actress Aaliyah died in a plane crash on August 25,2001. It'll be the 18th year anniversary in just a few days so I'm sure this lifted her family's spirits during this emotional time.
