ABC's Little Mermaid Live

2019 seems to be the year of remake, musicals, and reliving your Disney childhood. ABC says that this Little Mermaid Live musical has been in the works since 2007. This production was set to honor and celebrate the 30th anniversary of this Disney film. The main characters include Auli'i Crawalho who was the voice behind Disney's Moana. Ursula will be played by none other, the legend herself Queen Latifah. Reggae musician Shaggy will be Sebastian. The rest of the casting info hasn't been released just yet. Ariel is the getting all the attention from this musical to the film that'll be starring Halle Bailey as Ariel. This will be taped live in front of a studio audience giving off musical vibes.
