Quavo Produces Animated Kids Show

It seems as if the hot rap group, Migos, are always up to something. ⅓ of the migos group, Quavo, will be having his own animated franchise series for kids that fall in the age of 8-12. And yes, this really is happening! It was confirmed on Thursday, August 8th that Quavo’s kids series is in full effect to premier on TV soon!

Quavo, who’s real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, plans to be working with Marginal Media Works, which a premium content studio focused on genre storytelling from marginalized voices in the US and around the world. Record label, Quality Control (which signed Migos back in 2015) will also be helping recreate Atlanta, to portray the hip hop world along with the culture of Atlanta.“I have long seen how hip-hop as well as our music really impacts kids. I’ve loved animation my whole life, whether on TV or in movies, and I wanted my first jump into this premium content world to be a show just for kids. It will definitely reflect the creativity, love and families in and around the NAWF side of Atlanta, where we grew up.” Quavo said in a statement about the series.

Important people will also be helping make Quavo’s dream of an animation show come true. Brian Grazer, Imagine Entertainment Chairman will Marginal MediaWorks CEO and founder, Sanjay Sharma, and Imagine Kids + Family President Stephanie Sperber will all serve as Executive Producer on this project (along with Quavo of course).

So far, there hasn’t been any world of a “release date” for when the show will be debuted on TV. But even then, we do know for sure that the animated show is in the process of being created! So hopefully we’ll be getting a release date soon!
