Keke Palmer and Strahan!

More Keke Palmer is coming your way! After weeks of rumors that the Scream Queens star would be joining Michael Strahan and Sara Haines on Good Morning America's third-hour program, it's now been made official. The announcement, which was made on Keke's 26th birthday, prompted ABC to change the title of the show from Strahan and Sara to GMA3: Strahan, Sara, and Keke. But Now is Keke is officially on the scene with her name is big lighting.

“It’s been a blast having Keke co-host this summer. She brings a unique and spontaneous energy viewers love,” said Rory Albanese, the program’s executive producer, in a statement. "She’s a multi-talented artist, and I’m thrilled to have her join Michael and Sara every day.”

Keke first came on the show to help fill in while Sara was on maternity leave earlier this summer. Prior to this GMA gig, she became the youngest talk show host in TV history when she started her own program, Just Keke, back in 2014 when she was 20 years old. Now that Sara Haines has welcomed baby Caleb into the world, she's out on maternity leave for the rest of the summer. To fill her chair temporarily, ABC has elected the one and only Keke Palmer to co-host with Michael Strahan on Strahan and Sara.

Now that Sara Haines has welcomed baby Caleb into the world, she's out on maternity leave for the rest of the summer. To fill her chair temporarily, ABC has elected the one and only Keke Palmer to co-host with Michael Strahan on Strahan and Sara. The decision to have Keke fill in for Sara for the next few months was met with so much excitement from fans. "Yassss Keke !!! Congratulations," a GMA viewer wrote on YouTube. Another complimented Keke's amazing energy and said that they "always love seeing her." Both Sara and Michael seem to share in the fans' excitement. While announcing their "plan" to have Keke come on, Michael said it was going to be "funnnnnnn!" and Sara enthusiastically agreed. Why do they love Keke so much? The third-hour GMA stars thought she did an amazing job when she filled in for Michael Strahan this past April. "When Michael was traveling a few months back, I had the best time with one of our guest hosts. She's super talented and we danced and we had so much fun," Sara gushed.

Strahan and Sara wasn't Keke's first talk show gig, though. In 2014, Keke became the youngest talk show host in TV history at 20 years old when she launched her own program entitled Just Keke on BET. Since then, she's starred in Fox's Grease: Live broadcast as Marty Maraschino, released lots of new music, and become a regular on VH1's Scream. Wendy Williams' fans will also recall that she filled in for Wendy when the talk show star was out earlier this year.

In short, Keke is definitely a big deal, and at 25 years old, she already has a ton of experience under her belt. It's no wonder that Sara and Michael are comfortable (and proud!) to have her on. Catch her on ABC at 1pm sharp!
