Tauren Wells Announces Release Date for Sophomore Album, “Citizen of Heaven”
GRAMMY®, Billboard Award-nominated, and DOVE Award-winning triple-threat artist Tauren Wells announces the release date for his highly anticipated sophomore album, Citizen of Heaven releasing songs “Miracle” and “Close”. Refreshing and contagious, Wells’ soulful electronic pop sounds are producing a new wave of gospel. Citizen of Heaven will be the follow-up to Wells’ award-winning debut solo album, Hills and Valleys, which debuted top five on the Billboard Top Christian Charts after its 2017 release. “I have this unshakable feeling that this album is going to be one of the most important things I’ve ever done,” says Tauren Wells. “It just feels special.” Boasting a crisp new gospel sound, Tauren Wells’ Citizen of Heaven is produced by Chuck Butler and Jordan Sapp, with additional production from Rascal Flatts, Kirk Franklin, Max Stark and Colby Wedgeworth.
Citizen of Heaven features collaborations from multiple GRAMMY Award winner Kirk Franklin, Rascal Flatts, Steven Furtick of Elevation Worship and Jenn Johnson of Bethel Music.
