2019 Soul Train Awards!

It’s that time again. The SOUUUUUUULLLLLLL TRAINNNNNNN Awards are back and better. Airing on BET November 17th, 2019, we can look forward to good music, good vibes, and a good time. The Soul Train Awards stemmed from the infamous show Soul Train started and hosted by the late Don Cornelius.

He started the Soul Train show in 1970, showcasing black artists. The show became a safe haven for people of color, giving them a chance to showcase their talent and music to a broad audience. With the show, Cornelius gave them opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise have due to the racial tension during that time. The Soul Train Music Awards first aired in March of 1987, making this the 32nd year to be held. This year's hosts will be Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, airing live from none other than the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

Artists from all genres come together in hopes of winnings awards from various categories such as Best New Artist, Soul Train Certified Award, Best Gospel/Inspirational Award, Best R&B/Soul Female and Male Artist, and many others. This year's performers will include BJ The Chicago Kid, Stokley, Boyz II Men, Luke James, and some others. Make sure you watch The Soul Train Awards this Sunday November 17th, 2019 on BET and check below for the full list of nominees.

And remember, Peace, Love, and SOUUUUUULLLLLLL!
