Jonathan Butler releases New Holiday Album!
One of my favorite guitarists Jonathan Butler just announced a new holiday album and tour! Jonathan Butler’s new album is titled Christmas Together and features artists Shelea’, Dave Koz, Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, and others singing Christmas favorites “Joy to the World”, “We Three Kings”, “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”, and others. In addition to releasing the album, Butler has been on a 20 city tour titled “Dave Koz and Friends Christmas Tour” since November. They have a few cities left to visit including cities in Texas, California, and Arizona.
Jonathan Butler first came to music back in 1986 with album Introducing Jonathan Butler which featured hits like “Baby Please Don’t Take It (I Need Your Love)”. That same year, he released his second album, self titled Jonathan Butler which featured hits “Lies”, “Love Songs, Candlelight and You”, “Holding On”, and “Take Good Care of Me”. Since then, he continued to release albums, crossing genres of Gospel, Jazz, and R&B. Known for his soulful jazzy chords and strings, Butler is sure to capture you with his voice and his guitar.
Christmas Together is his recent release after Close to You released last year.Jonathan continues to whoo us with his amazing talents. I’m sure he has so much more to give.
