Kanye Takes The Charts

Kanye West just recently dropped his much anticipated gospel album, Jesus is King. The album has 11 songs on it. All of which ranked on the charts. Follow God charted the highest at number 7.

West also managed to tie Eminem for the most consecutive number one albums in History. They both have 9 in total, all of which have been number one when they first debuted. Those albums include:

Eminem: The Marshall Mathers LP, The Eminem Show, Encore, Curtain Call: The Hits, Relapse, Recovery, The Marshall Mathers LP2, Revival, and Kamikaze

Kanye West: Late Registration, Graduation, 808s & Heartbreak, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Watch The Throne (ft. Jay Z), Yeezus, The Life of Pablo, Ye, and Jesus Is King

Watch The Throne counts because it wasn’t released as a duet album. Jay-Z actually holds the top spot as the most number 1 albums in total, his not being consecutive. Despite Kanye’s political issues, there’s no denying that he’s a musical genius. 808s & Heartbreaks? Classic.
