En Vogue’s “Born to Sing” Album Turns 30!
Legendary R&B group, En Vogue, released their debut album, “Born to Sing”, 30 years ago. The infamous album made En Vogue one of the most successful female groups in history. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the project, the group has revisited the 1990 version by releasing an extended album. “BORN TO SING: 30th ANNIVERSARY EXPANDED EDITION” is a 21-track project that includes a remastered version of the original album, as well as rare mixes that are new digital releases.
The first song, “Mover” was recently released on digital platforms. The Japanese-only B Side track is one of the included rare mixes that is included in the extended version of the album. Popular songs like “Hold On”, “Lies”, and “You Don’t Have to Worry” are remastered songs on the album as well. In addition to the newly extended edition of the album, En Vogue released a visual podcast entitled “Funky Divas.” On the podcast, they share stories about how the group came about, how they’ve managed to last, and how they’ve made such an impact in the music industry. The visual podcast can be found on YouTube and the “BORN TO SING: 30th ANNIVERSARY EXPANDED EDITION” album can be streamed on every musical platform.
