Jack Harlow Is Inducted into the Freshman Class Along with Nine Others

On August 11th the XXL 2020 Freshman Class revealed their class of new rap artists with one of them being Jack Harlow. Rap artist Jack Harlow gained attention in the rap industry with his single “What’s Poppin” which is now certified gold.

Along with Harlow other rap artists NLE Choppa, Polo G, Calboy, Lil Tjay, Fivio Foreign, Baby Keem, Rod Wave, Chika, Mulatto, Lil Keed, and 24kGoldn appeared on the cover after earning the most votes from fans.

Harlow is a rap artist from Louisville, Kentucky and was signed with Generation Now records in 2018, which is affiliated with Atlantic Records. He has worked with artists like K Camp and Bryson Tiller before the release of his original song “What’s Poppin” in January.

Harlow is a part of Generation Now record label which is all owned by music executive DJ Drama. Also, he is the second artist from generation now to appear on the cover of XXL 2020 Freshman Class. Previously Lil Uzi Vert was the first to be on the cover from Generation Now back in 2016.

“What’s Poppin” was also made into a remix featuring Lil Wayne, DaBaby and Tory Lanez that was released on June 24th. The song is available on all musical platforms and also has a music video that can be seen on Youtube. Be sure to check out the “What’s Poppin” remix video below.
