Being an independent fashion designer or model is hard, especially finding the funding and opportunities to get your foot in the door. The Burghàlie Academy of Visual Arts realizes that, which is why they have just opened applications up for their SECOND ANNUAL FASHION COMPETITION! You may be wondering, what’s in it for me? Here’s the fashionably fine print. Designers will compete for a chance to win up to $10,000, a branding shoot with a celebrity photographer, and a notable blog publication. Aspiring models will compete for a chance to be featured on a billboard for the Atlanta Art Awards Fashion Show, a campaign shoot with Burghàlie, and a magazine spread.
