JUSTICE FOR BREONNA TAYLOR!

SAY HER NAME! Breonna Taylor was like all of us. A strong, young black woman in the workforce. She was a medical worker out of Louisville, Kentucky. She was in fact, shot by the police. We hear this story too many times of innocent black people being killed in the hands of the police. It's 2020 and this is still our sad reality.

Amongst the three officers who fired during the botched robbery only one officer was indicted. And the absurd part is that his indictment was for wanton endangerment for his actions.

National demonstrations over the recent unjust police brutality incidents during this pandemic have influenced multiple marches and protests.

What was a no-knock warrant causing an innocent life to be lost at the hands of the Louisville police?

Month after month we have advocated for justice and we still didn’t get it. In September, the Louisville administration said to have settled with 12 million for the wrongful-death lawsuit of Ms. Taylor.

This case has brought many speculations as the officers involved were slowly fired. Tamika Palmer, Breonna’s mother said: “At this point it’s bigger than Breonna, it’s bigger than just Black Lives,” “We’ve got to figure out how to fix the city, how to heal from here.”

Breonna Taylors’ civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump has urged for the transcript to be released to the grand jury.

Former Louisville Metro Police officer Brett Hankinson pleaded not guilty on Monday to three counts of wanton endangerment in his initial court appearance related to the botched raid that led to the death of Breonna Taylor.

Last Wednesday the grand jury indicted Former Louisville Metro Police officer Brett Hankinson pleaded not guilty on Monday to three counts of wanton endangerment in his initial court appearance related to the botched raid that led to the death of Breonna Taylor.

The other two officers still remain on the workforce with small display action against them.

Protesters and rioters took to the streets to Jefferson Square and all across the nation.

What do we do now? Is there any hope?

And let’s talk about the crooked Attorney General, Daniel Cameron.
