McDonald’s Adds Brand New Sweet Treats to Bakery Menu
Over the last few years, McDonald’s has added a plethora of new items to their menu, such as spicy chicken nuggets, the spicy McChicken and the Egg McMuffin! Many of the items were a hit (like the Egg McMuffin) and have stayed on the menu since introducing it to the public. Now, McDonald’s is introducing a new set of items to their menu, but this time it’s for the McCafe Bakery section. Starting on October 28, 2020, McDonald’s lovers will be able to smell the sweet and tempting scent of Cinnamon rolls! The flaky pastry dough is covered in icing and filled with cinnamon and served warm to all customers. They are also adding Blueberry Muffins and Apple Fritters to the McCafe Bakery menu, which will help attract even more pastry lovers!
Apple Fritter: A classic fritter made with cinnamon and apples, this hand-held treat is fried to a golden brown and drizzled with a sweet glaze icing. Are we saying you should dip yours into your morning coffee? No way… Ok, fine, we definitely are.
Blueberry Muffin: Our new recipe is baked with real blueberries and topped with a streusel crumb topping, making for a crave worthy soft & fluffy muffin. Feeling “blue” all day never tasted so good.
Cinnamon Roll: Loaded with cinnamon layered between buttery, flaky pastry dough that is drizzled with a delicious cream cheese icing. Served warm, the aroma alone sparks a craving for the next decadent bite…talk about a reason to roll out of bed.
The McDonald’s Breakfast menu is loved by millions, so much so that they decided to make their breakfast options available all day in 2015! Luckily, that means that you can get these three new bakery items all day, whether you’re craving them before, during or after work. McDonald’s introduced their breakfast menu over 50 years ago, and have continued to listen to their customers by adding and taking away menu items, while experimenting with new food trends.
