Tarralyn Ramsey Drops New Single “Jesus, We Need You”

Multi-talented, gospel & pop artist Tarralyn Ramsey just dropped a new single called “Jesus, We Need You” The track comes after a successful career, beginning with her self-titled album at age 13, under one of the top gospel record companies in the industry, Verity Records. The album peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Gospel charts and was nominated for several Stellar Awards. After her time with Verity Records, Tarralyn was featured on VH1’s BORN TO DIVA, where she would win the competition and impress the notable judges Queen Latifah, Sharon Osbourne, and Patti Labelle. Following this, Tarralyn signed with Casablanca/Universal Records and released her hit single “Up Against All Odds”, which charted on the Billboard Pop charts. Now, Tarralyn returns to gospel with her new single “Jesus, We Need You”!

In an exclusive interview with American Songwriter, Ramsey recalls writing the song on a flight home, many years ago. “The pages of my notebook were stained with tears as I sang the melody and wrote the lyrics of ‘Jesus, We Need You’. It was clear to me that this song was echoing of a time where so much would be going on in the world. I believe in my spirit that the time is NOW!
