NeNe Leakes Not Returning to RHOA?!

Last week, NeneLeakes, began trending all over twitter after receiving news that she was not asked to return to Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 9. She stated that there were no hard feelings and even revealed that Shereé Whitfield and Kim Zolciak Biermann were returning. However, Leakes recently visited the Steve Harvey show where she told her side of the story on what is going on with her relationship with RHOA at the moment.

Steve asked if it was true that she would not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta, and she stated, “That is not a true rumor. I will tell you what the real deal is; They are shooting season 9 currently and it just so happened, for whatever reason, they started shooting and didn’t call me up! I feel like Kelly Ripa honey, ’cause I’ve been there since day one. So y’all are shooting and not even calling your girl up to come and shoot?!”

Now, of course, many were confused by Leakes’s absence from the upcoming season of RHOA, since most fans believe she is practically the face of the brand... According to Nene, she is communicating with Bravo to make a few appearances. “They did reach out to me though and we are talking, so I will possibly make some appearances in season 9. I don’t think I’ll ever be done with housewives. I feel very connected to the show,” she told Steve Harvey. Hopefully, we do see her face on the next season. We'd hate to see her go!
