King started acting in the 1980 sitcom “227” where she got her first appearance and the world got to see where it all began for her new career. King appeared in many movies that highlighted her career like the show “The Boondocks” many people didn’t know played the character 'Riley'. In which, Riley was a boy and she transformed her voice to pitch her character, now that's what you call talent!! King told AOL in a exclusive interview for her new movie “If Beale Street Could Talk” "I've been acting for thirty-plus years and the reality is -- and ( hope everyone feels like this about who's lucky enough to have their career be something that they love -- that you're growing," "I feel like I'm growing as an actor as these roles are coming. They're coming at the time that I'm prepared for them; the universe has prepared me for them, so I'm just riding it. I'm listening to the universe, and I'm riding love all the way."
The proof is in the pudding for the 48 year old actress King is growing in her element and is changing in her career with grace. King just winning an Emmy for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or a Movie 2018. Regina has done nothing but great things in the entertainment industry and her growth over the years has been outstanding, We can't wait to see what else she has in store!
