Porsha Williams' New Show: "Porsha's Having A Baby"
Some can say that a baby is sign of happiness, excitement, a little scary, but ultimately it’s just a time to celebrate yet another life entering into this world. The Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star, Porsha Williams, definitely thinks that way; why else would have a television special talking about your pregnancy journey! That right; Porsha Williams new show Porsha’s Having a Baby was aired on the Bravo network this past April 28th.
Most of you may know Porsha Williams as a reality tv star on the show The Real Housewives of Atlanta since 2012. You might of even seen here on social media having a fued with castmate, Nene Leakes recently. But aside from that Porsha Williams has played the role as a model, actress, and now role added to the mix: a mother.
Williams announced the news of her pregnancy back in September of last year to PEOPLE Magazine; though she was excited she was also afraid too. “When I found out I was pregnant, I was excited [but] I had mixed feelings. The other feeling that I had beside excitement was fear. I’ve had a miscarriage before in my past, which I’ve also been open about because I suffer with fibroids and had to have a myomectomy. So just the fear of, ‘Is the baby going to be okay? Will I make it full term?’ All those questions that you ask if you’ve had a miscarriage before.” But through it all Porsha kept the excitement as she carried her little bundle of joy with the support of friends and family and fiance Dennis McKinley. Sure enough on March 22nd, at 1:36pm a new baby was welcomed into the world, and her name was Pilar Jhena.
The 3 episode series goes in depth about the journey of pregnancy of baby Pilar at the age of 37-years-old. You learn that Porsha and fiance Dennis didn’t have a drama free pregnancy; tension flies as the two struggle to depict where will “home” be for them, and the struggle of blending there families together. This soon makes the couple think, are they even ready for the struggles that come with parenthood.
