Dascha Polanca (Orange is the New Black Star) facing charges

Orange is the New Black star, will NOT be seen in orange.

Thursday, Polanco was seen in court in New York to speak on her charges of assault and harassment. Apparently, she got arrested this past August due to hitting a 17-year-old girl, she pulled the girl's hair, and scratched her arms. So it was a pretty mean brawl. The teenager suffered from bruising, substantial pain, and had to later seek medical care.

Although, Polanco declined to say anything outside of the courthouse, her attorney Gerald Lefcourt questioned the whereabouts of the changes made against his client and says, "the case will eventually be dismissed."

They are unclear of what led to these events, but do know the 2 know each other due to the fact that the teenager was invited to Polanco's house via text message.

She is due back in court next month.
