Soulja Boy Leaves Love and Hip Hop Hollywood Due to Its "Ratchedness"

Rapper Soulja Boy has appeared on all 3 seasons of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood with former girlfriend Nia Riley. On the third season the former couple has been getting less camera time and when they are seen on camera they are not together. Monday afternoon he announced that he would be leaving Love and Hip Hop Hollywood because it is to ratchet. He announced via twitter why he is making the decision to leave. He stated, “I’ve decided to quit Love and hip hop. I feel my brand is too big for the show now. It’s too ratchet. I have my own new tv show coming soon.”

Prior to announcing that he is leaving the show Soulja Boy tweeted, “Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from negativity.” He did not give details on his new television show project but it may be safe to say, not to expect him to make an appearance season 4.
