Camila Cabello Reveals Why She Left Girl Group, Fifth Harmony
We all remember the moment when the girl group, Fifth Harmony, wasn’t “Fifth Harmony” anymore… the day Camila Cabello randomly left the group.
Everyone was wondering what had happened, would they still be a group, would they have a new girl replace her spot? Well, even though some questions are still unanswered, Cabello decided to answer at least one of them.
Why did she leave the group?
In an interview with Seventeen Magazine, she let her fans and supporters in on some personal information as to why she left the famous girl group, her new music, and even her interests for the future.
The now, solo artist stated her reasoning for leaving was simple: she felt she couldn’t grow as an artist with the group.
“Fifth Harmony wasn’t the maximum expression of me individually… My fans are really going to know me from the music I’m writing. My goal is to be brave and open up my soul.”
Even though she departed from her singing sisters, she still wishes them the best of luck and even stated that she is looking forward to hearing new music from them as well.
Soon, you’ll be hearing a lot of new sounds from Camila because her debut solo album is set to release later this year. We wish her the best of luck, and hope that she can be a very well-rounded solo artist and we’re happy for the doors that may be opened for her.
