Is There a Rush Hour 4?
A fourth Rush Hour movie has been spoken about in various ways and at various times since the release of Rush Hour 3 way back in 2007, but it's never really felt like a sure thing. That is until October 2017 when Jackie Chan revealed that there was a script he'd agreed on for Rush Hour 4, with the aim of getting to work on the movie in 2018 once his co-star Chris Tucker had also signed off. "For the last seven years, we've been turning down the script, turning down the script," he explained in a separate interview. "The script probably at the end of this month will have a second draft and next year, [we'll] probably start." And things looked even more promising in February 2018 when Tucker confirmed that he was also on board. "It's happening. This is gonna be the Rush of all Rush-es. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don't ever forget it," he enthused. Many fans are so excited that this film is going to happen like come on who wouldn’t want to see this film happen it has been a long time.
Although it has been rumored that there is no such thing as part 4 of rush hour coming out. It was declared in 2018 and its 2019 but some sources say that the movie will be announced in 2020. Many fans stated “ Keep pushing back the dates of release must not be true”. There has been rumors saying that Jackie Chan did not want to make another film not reunite with Chris Tucker. Chan previously announced in 2017 that Rush Hour 4 was being developed, but the project has been more or less quiet since then. Now in a new conversation on the Winging It podcast Chris Tucker has offered an update on the sequel’s progress, and sounds hopeful it will all come together. As it turns out, Jackie only very recently came to an agreement with insiders pushing to move the project forward. He explained, "For the last seven years, we've been turning down the script, turning down the script. Yesterday, we just agreed." As for Tucker he stated "I guess, Jackie and me, but yeah, I was definitely down as long as it comes together right. And it looks like it's coming together right."
