NEW SHOW ALERT: 'Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur'
The Marvel franchise features some of the biggest movies and TV shows of the past decade! Iron Man, Black Panther, Spiderman and Thor are some of the iconic superheros that we have grown to love, but Disney and Marvel are making an effort to turn the young generations into Marvel fans too. "Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur" tells the story of Lunella Lafayette, a super-genius 13-year-old who accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into New York City. Despite not originally aspiring to be working alongside a terrifyingly massive animal, Lunella aka Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur end up working side-by-side to protect NYC's Lower East Side from danger.
In the trailer, you see the action packed adventures that the duo takes on against the various villains throughout the series. The show has a star-studded cast, including Diamond White as Lunella/Moon Girl; Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur; Alfre Woodard as Lunella’s grandmother, Mimi; Libe Barer as Lunella’s best friend and manager, Casey; Sasheer Zamata as Lunella’s mom, Adria; Jermaine Fowler as Lunella’s dad, James Jr.; Gary Anthony Williams as Lunella’s grandfather, Pops; and series executive producer Laurence Fishburne in the recurring role of The Beyonder, a curious and mischievous trickster.
"Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur" will premiere on Disney Channel on February 10th and will have the first six episodes available on Disney+ starting February 15th. If you're looking for a new animated series with a youthful kick and "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" type of animation, then you should definitely check this show out!
