Kim Kardashian Is Studying To Become A Lawyer

The multi-talent Kim Kardashian breaks the internet again when social media gets word that she is in the process of being a lawyer! The 38-year-old mother of 3 (rumored that #4 is on it’s way via surrogate) did a interview with Vogue which is where she did her spill about her steps to becoming a lawyer.

"I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society. I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more." Kim says in her interview. Kim says that the wheels started turning for her to become a lawyer after she helped free Alice Marie Johnson, a woman who was apart of a drug conspiracy whos means of joining was to make ends meet for her family. Kim has been in secret with her career change, and has been studying to be a lawyer since last year.

Most people believe that you have to go to Law School to become a lawyer, but that’s not always the case. Only four states in the United States allows people to become lawyers by doing apprenticeships at a law firm. Kim is doing her apprenticeship in California. Don’t get it confused; though some students go this direction they still have rigorous work they have to do just as your average law student. Passing the First-Year Law Students Exams, studying law at a law firm for a minimum of 18 hours per week for 48 weeks, and more.

Social Media has taken a stab for Kim since the revealing of this news, some are encouraging some, as we all know, always have something negative to say. “kim k studying to be a lawyer is the best live action remake of legally blonde i’ve ever of”, well that’s pretty darn harsh. Others are claiming that her “privilege” is going to give her a advantage over other students. Others, as I stated, are supportive of her new career: “Kim Kardashian wants to become a lawyer to reform our criminal justice system. How many of the people making fun of her have helped free people from unjust prison sentences? She’s a millionaire. Instead of sitting back, she’s trying to help people. Give her some credit” a fan said on Twitter.

Regardless, anybody that is willing to make a career to reform our justice system should be praised, regardless of their past. So kudos to Kim Kardashian and we wish nothing but much success for her career as a lawyer!
